SCKC CLUB MEETINGS:
The general Membership of SCKC meets the third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 pm in the club building.
Guests are welcome to attend and must register when attending as a guest.

MEMBERSHIP:
Individual- Open to any person 18 years of age or older.
Family- Two or more adults residing in the same household.
Junior- Open to any person under the age of 18 years.
Indivdual: $50.00, plus one time initiation fee of $20.00 = $70.00
Family: $70.00, plus one time initiation fee of $20.00 = $90.00
Junior: No charge
ELECTION TO MEMBERSHIP:
A prospective member must attend three (3) regular meetings within a six (6) month period as a guest
prior to submitting an application for membership.The completed application, (including two (2) sponsor
member's signatures), must be submitted within three (3) months thereafter.The prospective member will
also submit a separate letter describing his back-ground in dogs, as well as the reasons for wanting to join
SCKC. First year's dues and initiation fee is due with membership application. Membership application
are to be turned into the membership chairperson, who will submit them to the Board of Directors for
review. Each application, if approved by the board, will be have its letter read at the next general meeting
of the club following its review and approval by the board. The second general meeting after its review
the prospective member will be asked not to attend the meeting, and the application will be voted on by
the membership. An affirmative vote of 3/4 of the membership present and voting shall be required to
elect theapplicant. Voting shall be by secret ballot. Two members will tally the vote. Applications and

CLUB ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Members must attend six (6) meetings during the year to retain their membership. New members will be
prorated depending upon date of acceptance. Members unable to attend meetings due to extenuating
circumstances may petition the Board of Directors, in writing, to grant an excuse for a maximum of three
(3) Meetings.
